was sie an begeisterung bei ihren live-sets mit ihren eigenen tracks hervorrufen, schaffen sie auch locker mit anderer musik. eher unbekanntere künstler wie die deutschen errorsmith oder siriusmo stehen dabei gleichberechtigt neben ikonen wie radiohead oder detroit experiment und zeugen so von modeselektors liebe zur musik, unabhängig von stilrichtung oder dem bekanntheitsgrad des künstlers.
diese tolle mix-cd soll jezt nicht etwas ein rückzug von modeselektor ins dj-business werden, im gegenteil - sie arbeiten gerade an ihrem zweiten album (release im september), an einer vorabsingle und haben gerade einen exklusiven track für die neueste bpitch control label-compilation “camping vol.3” hingezaubert und haben für mr. yorke persönlich einen remix fertig gestellt. na, wenn das kein modeselektor-jahr ist ....! |
